Schools & EducationSchools are closed today in Bolton, Huntington, Jericho, Richmond and Underhill. Classes and all extracurricular activities for nearly 3,000 students have been canceled indefinitely until the strike is resolved.

Supposedly, the vote for the full day of kindergarten is scheduled for a floor vote at 9 am. This means that many will not be able to vote after their work as planned.
