Scudder and Douglas

Tuesday, November 01 2005 @ 11:43 PM EST
Contributed by: Bryan

PoliticsUntitled Document Scudder Parker, Jim Douglas, some strong words, and a kickoff campaign in a Richmond Barn... what's not to love.

LINK HERE to the AP Story in the Boston Globe

Okay, so If the link doesn't work (because Boston Globe sometimes lets you in without registering and sometimes does not... here is the gist:

Jim Douglas thought it was too early to campaign for Governor, called it a disservice to Vermont. Scudder Parker disagrees. This makes news out of state.

The End?

Douglas' big problems lie with his appointees.

See below blog entry with certified letter to Douglas concerning his appointment of a convicted civil rights violator to the chief of the Vermont Police Academy.

DouglasAppointments

This year he also appointed one of the sleaziest Vermont attorneys to the Vermont criminal justice training counsel. The only private attorney appointed to that agency.

Cronies = corruption in the Douglas administration.
