The Earthday Event in Richmond needs a little help from you! They have a great lineup of speakers and just need a little money to make it happen.
If we all help with donations of $5.00 or $10.00 it will be a snap!
Also - they are giving you a chance to participate. Tables are free so if you have something you want to show/say or demonstrate - what a great opportunity!
They will need help with set up and break down/cleanup, too! Watch for more details as the event gets closer.
Here are the details and schedule:
Richmond Earth Day & StepItUp07
Event at
Richmond Library and Richmond
Congregational Church
Saturday, April 14th
12:00 – 4:00
If you are interested in supporting Richmond’s third Annual Earth Day event, we would love your help! This year, we are combining the Earth Day event with StepItUp07, a national “rally” to address global warming.
Currently, we need to raise about $400. We have a total budget of $600, to pay for the venues, supplies, and performers. We anticipate a total of about $200 from a raffle, bake sale, and money already donated by local businesses.
In addition to sponsorship, we invite any local business or group to fill out a sheet highlighting any environmental action they might be doing. We will post these sheets on a display board, so that people coming to the event can see all that local businesses and groups are already doing to help the environment.
Also, if your business or group is interested in having a table highlighting an environmental issue, please send me an email. Having a table is free, and we would love to have your participation! Hands on activities for children and families would be greatly appreciated.
Feel free to contact me with any questions you might have about the Earth Day & StepItUp07 event.
