***SAVE THE DATE - TUESDAY MAY 22nd 6:30-9:00 pm***

Richmond Area Creative Communities Program

What is the creative economy?

What does it mean for the Richmond area?

What projects do YOU want to see happening?

A public forum on the local creative economy will be held Tuesday, May
22nd, from 6:30 - 9:00 pm, at the Richmond Free Library. This is your
chance to learn about how the creative economy joins cultural, community,
and economic development in towns around the state AND share your ideas
for projects in the Richmond area.

Other towns have used the creative economy to tackle key issues like
keeping a healthy downtown core, maintaining a unique community character,
and supporting their area's agricultural heritage. What are YOUR
priorities?

Dessert will be served.

This forum is part of Richmond's participation in the Creative Communities
Program at the VT Council on Rural Development. More information is
available online at http://www.vtrural.org

Hold also these dates:
Thursday, June 7th, 7:00 - 8:30 pm: Meeting to Select 3 Priority Projects
Thursday, June 28th, 6:30 - 9:00 pm: Meeting to Set Action Plans (with
help from a statewide Resource Team)
