Forest Service gets hit with 10,000 pieces of propaganda

General News

The National Forest Service recently received over 9,900 pieces of correspondence regarding ATV use and wilderness areas. The story was reported in the Burlington Free Press and repeated as an AP article in various newspapers including the Bennington Banner. What troubles me is the lack of invesitgative reporting in the article and the way in which an environmental organization seems to be steering the issue.

I wrote a commentary about this here.
