No matter how you feel about the politics of war, Roger shares the experience of actually being "over there".
What we get is a very honest account of a local serviceperson sharing the day to day with all of us.
I hope that by reading his blog, it reminds us all that we have people over there, making (to quote a picture from the blog) "the best of a really bad situation."
If you know the family, please share your support and good wishes. Richmond is a town of people first and foremost and this blog reminds us that everyone "over there" has someone waiting "over here."
