Joe O'Brien shared this blog with me and I wanted to share it with the community. Roger Bombardier has been in Iraq for about 1 month, he's from our community, and is trying to make the best of things.

No matter how you feel about the politics of war, Roger shares the experience of actually being "over there".

What we get is a very honest account of a local serviceperson sharing the day to day with all of us.

I hope that by reading his blog, it reminds us all that we have people over there, making (to quote a picture from the blog) "the best of a really bad situation."
