Impact

IS this just a case of poor sportsmanship.
When did people start whining over the political process. I just don't get it. It was a vote, the vote didn't go your way, so you demand a ratified vote. Why the hell didn't you contest the process BEFORE the vote. Shame on you. Impact

We did question how the vote should be taken. The first vote last December was done in a town meeting format with one result. The vote earlier this week was done in a different format with a different result. Black and white to me.

Could it be that when the initial vote was made, people truly didn't understand the issue and now they do?
Perhaps it isn't a format issue but a time versus information issue. If so, then no matter how it is done the next time around, the results might be even more in favor of the "no" vote as more people become informed. I don't know, I just think the time to fight any perspective on format is before, not after. If it had been favorable outcome for the Home Builder Association, I doubt you folks would be putting up a stink. Perhaps the same is true for those who voted "no". If they had lost, perhaps they would be the ones griping. I thank you for your time, Joe. I respect the fact that you offered some usefull information and posted to this website. Meg |

I guess this isn't over yet!
Stay tuned Richmond...
I watched the news this morning and it looks like the Homebuilder's Association is going to fight this things tooth and nail.
How neighborly.
