The Internet is not a divine right and we should not forget that its day to day use is still governed by big business and politics. We are about to learn this lesson first hand.

The world stage is set and the next level of domination may be the very Interent that you are currently using to view this report. With pawns moved into position, the United Nations and a host of countries want the US to give up its dominant role in "supervising" the World Wide Web.

Read all the relevant links and think about what this could mean. I am not in a position to fully explain the consequences, nor am I in a position to tell any of you what to think.

...But the old adage still remains potent "Use it or lose it." Too many people think the Interent, e-mail, blogging, and the ability to host sites like this one are inalienable. They are not. Use your voice, be heard, and vote.

Never forget that the lesson behind what this is all about is two-fold... politics and dollars drive the thirst for control. In this case, the loss of control may be a very restricted internet for the citizens of the United States. Then again...?
