Flying Spaghetti Monster

Just for FunSure it is un-P.C., but the way I look at it, the Flying Spaghetti Monster will make believers of us all.

May his Noodly Appendage Touch You...

Go here first: http://www.venganza.org/

Okay, This site started as a lark, for sure. but the creator of the "Creator" had a bone to pick with those arguing Intelligent Design verses Darwinism.

While you may hold your own personal convictions close to the heart, the argument of this website can be stated as thus:

"Fine, you are going to teach Intelligent Design, what version?"

It is a good point. If Intelligent Design is being taught as a viable option to Darwinism with the religious component missing (so as not to aggrevate the separation of Church and state then we must discuss all of its iterations or we are being hypocritical. As the website creator understands it, his version of Intelligent Design is a valid option too.

As rediculous as the Flying Spaghetti Monster may sound, it brings up a canundrum for those planning on teaching Intelligent Design in public schools while calling it something other than "religion". The options appear to be for school boards to adopt all Intelligent Design teachings or none whatsoever.

Like it or not, the Flying Spaghetti Monster has opened a can of worms... er noodles.
