Contributed by: Bryan

OutdoorsAccording to a report on August 13, 2005
on the Times Argus website, "State studying bobcats near populated areas," Biologists are interested in bobcat sightings in our community.

If you have spotted a bobcat in the towns of Bolton, Richmond, Huntington, Hinesburg, Charlotte, Monkton, Jericho, and Starksboro, you are urged to contact the Fish and Wildlife department.

Call Kim Royar at (802) 885-8831 in the Springfield office within four days of a sighting, or contact the office on the web:

Vermont Fish and Wildlife: http://www.vtfishandwildlife.com

The reasearch is of growing interest as wildlife habitats are being developed by man.
