Richmond's Community Camp serves over 50 children each summer from Richmond, Huntington and Bolton. These children have a great time at camp for 4 weeks and get two meals each day.

A major fund-raising event is happening this weekend. We are very short of help to staff the tables at the Williston rest stop. Please help.

Hello Everyone!

As many of you know the CAMP is funded primarily through fundraisers such as the one coming up on August 4 and 5 that we could use some help with:

The Vermont Welcome Centers on the North and Southbound Lanes of the Interstate in Williston allow us to sell baked goods and coffee to folks who stop in. August is the absolute busiest month and a great opportunity for us to make some money! We have done this before and it is a very easy task and if everyone helps just a little it is even easier!

What can you do?
1> You can bake something or donate fruit. Bananas and cherries are especially popular

2> You can volunteer to take a 2 hour time slot and
sell baked goods. It is easy and FUN. You would call Marie Thomas at 434-5375 or her cell phone at 309-0398. Or you can e-mail her at pmthomas@gmavt.net.
Everything is set up for you and you just arrive and take over from the folks that are there. We like to have 2 people there at all times and an older child (not large groups) is perfect! It is a little to long for the little ones.
