If you are talking about the intersection of route 2 and 117, where the I-89 exit ramps are - then yes, there has been talk of a traffic circle there for years.

The State has a great advocate for roundabouts as a way of moving traffic more easily through difficult areas. I believe there have been some selctboard meetings about it just this year. I don't know if a decision has been made or not.

Why don't you mosey on down to a selectboard meeting and ask about it? OR grab the ear of one of our board members and ask what they know? IF you are an insomniac, you could copy and keep a copy of selectboard minutes to read and see what's happening in your town.

What a waste of money that would be and mess it would cause. I drive through that intersection every day and its not bad at all- especially compared to the light at richmond. The only thing thats wrong (both places) is that people dont know when to go or when to stop. A traffic circle certainly is not going to fix that! Discuss at town meetings?- now there is traffic jam waiting to happen!
