Film & TVDid you ever get that sinking feeling at the end of watching a TV show, and they put up the words "To Be Continued..."

First your pissed, then frustrated, then in disbelief that you have to wait another week, month or season to find out what happens.

Well for me watching ABC's series called LOST is like that every show. Most shows that I don't like I seem to just change the channel. That's the beauty of the remote, right?

But for some reason LOST makes me come back to watch each week, thinking they are going to actually advance this plot.

Well I think I am finally giving up on this show. I am now convinced that the writers could fit the entire seasons plot on to 1-20 minute DVD.

Each weeks episode has about 5 minutes of plot advancement, 35 minutes of flashbacks, and 20 minutes of commercials. This balance is what I think is turning me off.

Of course they film it nicley and mix in all the required music and sound effects. But I can't escape the feeling of disappointment every time the show ends.

Its to the point that I don't care anymore to find out what evil awaits these folks. I just can't sacrifice the amount of time and patience necessary to see what will happen next.

Someone do me a favor and let me know how it ends.

I find it helpful to assign cleaver nicknames to the characters
and comment out loud about how idiotic they all are (except Hurley).

Wait until it goes on DVD (season one already is, and available for rent at Film Buzz FYI) and save yourself the agony of the commercial breaks. As for the slow plot line, can't help ya there I'm afraid.
